Why We Chose OmegaVia
We went through a lot of omega-3s before landing here. Most looked promising...until we started asking harder questions.
Sourcing. We wanted small fish like anchovy and sardine, lower on the food chain and less likely to accumulate heavy metals.
Purification. "Purified" on a label means nothing without details. We looked for heat-free CO₂ extraction, which protects oil integrity and reduces contamination risk.
Potency. We didn't want a product requiring 3–4 softgels to reach an effective dose. We wanted high EPA+DHA per capsule in rTG form, which absorbs better than the cheaper forms many brands use.
Proof. "Third-party tested" is easy to claim. We looked for IFOS certification, where potency, oxidation, and contaminants are actually measured and published.
Freshness. Even quality oil turns if it oxidizes. We paid attention to rancidity control: antioxidants, packaging, storage guidance.
Most products failed somewhere. Strong marketing but vague sourcing. Good certifications but wrong form. High potency but no process transparency.
